My name is Christie, the heart and hands behind Sweeter than Honey. Thanks for stopping by!
Why is it called Sweeter than Honey?
The name of our shop comes from Psalm 119:103 “How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” My family and I have a love of God’s word and have truly experienced His goodness through studying it. Our hope is that these products help your little ones taste and see that the Lord is good!
What is your education and career background?
I received my bachelor’s degree in 2016 from Florida Gulf Coast University (Go Eagles!). I spent 5 years in the classroom as well as a resource teacher. During that time I had the opportunity to hone my skills in designing curriculum and teaching learners with a wide range of capabilities. I then transitioned to serving as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator at our church. While there, I received my certification as an ABC Biblical Counselor to better minister to the needs of kids and families. After 2 years in that role, I’m now a stay at home mama to 3 little ones!
